Who is the audience? This question usually starts our journey together to put your project on the right path. Most new writers may not have even considered to whom their words or illustrations are directed. What is an audience, you ask? Let’s back up a bit and ask a few more things: What age will read this? What format do they prefer to get their information or entertainment? Who will buy this? All these answers and more will determine what your “book” looks like in a digital age. Many who initially envision their work as a traditionally published, hardbound book determine that route is NOT the best path for their project to reach their intended audience.
